Information Futures Commission - Final Report and Ten-Year Strategy
On 26 June 2008 the Academic Board received two documents from the Information Futures Commission:
- Final Report from the Commission's Steering Committee, describing the initial consultation phase and summarising its findings
- Melbourne's Scholarly Information Future: a 10-year strategy
Academic Board noted the report and endorsed the strategy. The documents were forwarded to the July 2008 meeting of University Council. The Scholarly Information Future strategy was adopted and has now become part of the University's Growing Esteem strategy.
Previous drafts of the documents
Earlier drafts of these documents had been discussed at the May meeting of Academic Board, then made available for comment by the University community.
