Information strategy
Following an extensive consultation process, in July 2008 the University Council adopted Melbourne's Scholarly Information Future: a ten-year strategy. Starting in 2009, this document will form part of the University's broader Growing Esteem agenda.
Strategy and planning documents for other aspects of the University's information environment (eg 'corporate' information such as finance and HR) will be reviewed and updated in 2008-09 to take account of recent changes in the University's business models, goals and operations.
